What began as a groundbreaking pilot program in support of creating more adventurous eaters is evolving into a comprehensive brand initiative, positioning Little Peanut as the official face and voice of the Board’s peanut allergy prevention efforts nationwide.
The first wave of Little Peanut "adoptions" this spring was met with eager healthcare providers and influencers, demonstrating the character's unique ability to engage people and spark meaningful conversations about early peanut introduction. Now, we're taking those valuable learnings and scaling Little Peanut's impact across new platforms and partnerships.
Several enhancements are rolling out before the end of 2025. Families can look forward to a refreshed website and brand-new video content that will make early introduction education more accessible and engaging than ever before. We're expanding beyond the physical plushie to feature an animated Little Peanut in age-appropriate digital content, including interactive videos and audio resources designed to guide modern parenting decisions while entertaining the whole family.
To further support parents, the updated 5 Easy Ways to Introduce Peanuts card is now available offering simple, practical tips for everyday use. Little Peanut is also featured in new family-friendly coloring pages available for download and printing.
As 2025 draws to a close, Little Peanut will make appearances at several key industry events, including the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE) and the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting. These events will showcase Little Peanut while providing healthcare providers with essential tools to encourage early introduction conversations with families. Meanwhile, we’re strengthening our outreach through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and expanding partnerships that put Little Peanut directly into the hands of families who need this critical information most.
In addition, we are preparing to launch a brand-new Little Peanut storefront, giving families and fans a dedicated way to engage with Little Peanut content and resources.
